Amy Scherer
With a last name of Scherer–pronounced SHEER, which means scissors in German, Amy along with two of her siblings were destined to be hairstylists. A native of South Dakota, mother of three and wife of a musician, Amy–owner of B Sharp–has explored several careers including college English teacher, photographer, homeschooler, and most recently hairstylist for the last 8 years and salon owner since 2022.
A dedication to continuing education has led to countless hours spent in classes, including many held at her barbershop salon. Her passion for cutting and styling men’s hair has led her to B Sharp Cut Co. She provides a stylish cut, quality products, and hospitable environment that keep clients coming back.
When not working, she enjoys time with friends and family as well as being out in the Black Hills hiking, paddle boarding and taking photos.
She looks forward to helping you B Sharp!

Emily
Emily has been a licensed stylist for over 12 years with 22 years total experience doing proms, weddings and haircuts for friends and family. She has worked in both New York and South Dakota, owned 2 salons and has worked in environments that specialize in men’s hair. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, crafting and refurbishing old furniture. Book your appointment with Emily today!
Ella
Please welcome our barber Ella! A young woman of many talents and passions, this graduate of South Dakota Barber College loves to sing, play guitar, craft, and hike in the beautiful Black Hills. Most importantly, Ella is passionate about giving a good experience when cutting hair, grooming beards and shaving–this comes from her love of meeting new people and boosting their confidence with their new look. We’ve seen her in action and she’s a perfectionist when it comes to hair!
Ella will be in Tuesday-Thursday during the day, as well as Fridays and Saturdays.

David
Meet our appointment manager David. David spent his childhood in the Blackhills before moving around and exploring the west coast, ultimately coming back to the only place that ever truly felt like home. He is heavily involved in the arts, from painting and drawing to theater and working on independently produced films.
He has worked on such productions as Dracula, Anastasia and Little Shop of Horrors.
